Financial Accountability
As a Christian organization, we work with God to be His hands, feet and heart to some of the most marginalized children in the world. We have the privilege of doing this alongside financial donors.
Our Board of Directors provides guidance and oversight to the projects and spending of the organization. We know that every donation, be it large or small, is a gift of love to be used to better the lives of the children with whom we work. Our Board meets to establish policies, approve budgets, and review operational results and ministry accomplishments.
We are extremely grateful for our donors whom we consider to be part of our extended ITHM family. This is a family that is changing the world.
ITHM has monthly operating costs which sustain our projects and programs. Often times, there are capital expenses, which we raise funds. If someone donates towards a specific cause, we use that donation towards that cause.
We subscribe to a written statement of faith which affirms our commitment to the evangelical Christian doctrine. Advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through rescuing and equipping His children is the singular objective of our financial conduct.
Our financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Our 990 is submitted each year through an outside firm, Randy Walker & Co.
Contributions to the ministry are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. In order to help our donors determine the tax-deductible portion of their gifts, we receipt all donations showing the fair market value of any goods or services provided to the donor.
Out of respect for each individuals' privacy, we do not sell or rent our mailing list to other groups wishing to use the names and addresses of our supporters. We maintain tight security on our list of friends and supporters.
