Core Values

God Love Respect Diligence Unity Transformation

ITHM rescues and equips orphans and destitute children by breaking the cycle of poverty through the introduction to Jesus Christ, education, family, and adoption. We desire to show these children that they are treasures and their lives are valuable. This is done through sharing the transforming Gospel of Jesus, providing a quality education, meeting practical needs, building safe housing and placing children in family structures.

Current projects include education sponsorships for primary, secondary, and university age students, The Treasure House - Kenya, and ITHM - Africa's sustainability efforts with the Acacia Ranch. In partnership with churches, individuals, and organizations in the United States and Kenya, we can improve the world, one community at a time.

ITHM is a registered 501(c)3 organization that was established in 1997.

OUR BEGINNING

ITHM began in 1997 when Jennifer Lawrence and Betty Phillips saw the plight of thousands of orphans that were abandoned in Romania under the cruel Communistic regime. What started as a dream to help 10 children in Romania, spread across three countries and thousands of children.

ITHM now serves orphans and destitute children in Nairobi, Kenya through ITHM - Africa and the rescue center called Treasure House - Kenya.

Past projects include assisting numerous orphanages and building multiple rescue centers in Romania, Ethiopia, and Kenya.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in God the Father, Almighty
creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and He will come to judge the living and the dead.

For by grace you have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ.

This is not of our own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8 ESV)

We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the fellowship of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
